Thanks for the remarks! Since I posted this photo I’ve added some water lilies. I intend to put a little bird perched on the log branch. I also thought about adding a frog somewhere...but we'll see. I will post the final product! I'm hopeing to have it finished in a few days.
As you can see the painting is starting to take shape. Once again, this piece has strong influence of the "early american" style.
